Sauteed Shiitakes

Description

This shiitake mushroom recipe can be added to your salads, burgers, fish, or steak for more nutrition and flavor.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Clean shiitake mushrooms. Remove stems and slice thinly.

  2. Dice onion, mince garlic and slice green onion.

  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, add olive oil to the pan.

  4. Once the pan is hot, add in the shiitake mushrooms and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the mushrooms have become golden brown.

  5. Add in onion, garlic, salt and pepper and sauté for another five minutes.

  6. Top with chopped green onion and serve.
