  1. Place beans and water in a blender to puree. Strain the beans to get rid of skins and undissolved solids

  2. Pour beans, coconut milk, evaporated milk, salt, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, and sweet potatoes into a pot. Simmer over very low heat until sweet potatoes are cooked. Stir regularly. Add raisins and simmer for another 10 mins. Remove cinnamon sticks and cloves if youd like

  3. Remove from heat and cool at room temperature. Chill before serving
