Place beans and water in a blender to puree. Strain the beans to get rid of skins and undissolved solids

Pour beans, coconut milk, evaporated milk, salt, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, and sweet potatoes into a pot. Simmer over very low heat until sweet potatoes are cooked. Stir regularly. Add raisins and simmer for another 10 mins. Remove cinnamon sticks and cloves if youd like
