Description

Brussels sprouts are rich in vitamin K, which may improve bone strength and prevent injuries, and are packed with fiber, which can improve gut health. they are a natural source of folate, an essential nutrient for preventing certain birth defects.

Ingredients
  • 16 oz Brussels Sprouts (frozen or fresh, stems removed)
  • 2 each Apples (cut into 3/4 inch chunks)
  • 1 Onions (sweet, cut into 3/4 inch chunks)
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • drizzle Salt (to taste)
  • drizzle Black Pepper (to taste)
  • drizzle Garlic Powder (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice (Fresh)
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
Instructions

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

    Arrange brussels sprouts in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes; after add apple and onion pieces evenly around the baking sheet. Drizzle the sprouts, apples, and onions with olive oil and maple syrup; sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the mixture gently to coat.

    Roast in the oven until sprouts are hot and fragrant, about 20 minutes. Squeeze juice from lemon over the sprouts to serve
