Description

This low-sodium version of gravy is simple and delicious.

Ingredients
  • Drippings from Cooked Turkey
  • 1-1 1/12 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Sage
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions

    After cooking the turkey, reserve the drippings and loosened browned bits from the pan into a large measuring cup.

    Skim off additional fat and put to the side, reserve ΒΌ cup of the liquid.

  3. 3

    Add enough broth to the liquid until you measure 2 cups.

    In a small saucepan over low heat, combine flour and fat and stir until smooth.

    Gradually stir in the broth mixture. Stir in thyme, sage and pepper.

    Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes.

    Serve with turkey or turkey meatballs
